Five for Friday with some Freebies!

fiveforfriday

1.  First, we (Stephanie, Kathi and I) are all participating in the Super Sale on TpT this Sunday!  We will have out stores 20% off but make sure you put the special TpT code (Code: SUPER) in for another 8% off!

 2.  Here is a link to two FREE fonts that I made!  They will be included in my Super Cute Font pack on TpT.  It is $4.00 right now but I keep adding fonts... if you purchase it now you will get all of the added fonts for no additional cost when I update the file!  I made these because I was kind of tired of trying to keep up with all of the different terms of use for all the fonts I was purchasing.  I made the terms of use super easy for everyone who purchases the fonts!  Click HERE for the font pack and click HERE for the freebie font below!

3.  I have to share my door to my classroom!  I have had it up for a couple of weeks now and it will be coming down soon.  I got the idea off of the internet somewhere and kind of made some changes to make it my own.  Here is a link to a google doc that has the templates for the little penguins.  They are SUPER easy to make and the kids love them.  They keep asking when they get to take them home!

4.  I'm making these cupcakes for Groundhog's Day on Monday!  We had a surprise snow day today so I am glad I waited until Monday to make them or I would be eating a TON of cupcakes this weekend!  We shall see what the actual finished product from my own kitchen looks like!  For some reason (probably because I am a huge dork), Groundhog's Day is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate with my kiddos at school.  We used the two packets below from First Grade Fever and Barbara Kilburn last year and they are both excellent (and I am not in some sort of cahoots with them to say that... I actually purchased the packets with my own hard earned money and used them!)

5.  Here's a sample of our finished clocks from last week!  We made them out of old plastic lids (our theme of the week was recycling).   I put the dots that we use for AR color dots on them so that if they kids messed up they could just peel it off and try again.  They made their own hour/minute hands and then I made the hole in the lid and put them on with a brad (safety first, right?).  The kids LOVE them.  I was lucky enough to inherit a ton of clock manipulative from the teacher before me but if you need a way to make individual clocks for your kids this is a great idea!

Happy Weekend!!
